Life's A Wonderful Chorus

"At peace."
If somebody asks me how I am these days, that's how I'd answer them. Boring weekends and "happy", married friends notwithstanding.

Why not just say happy, you ask? Because I know there's a difference between happiness and peace. One can be happy but not necessarily be at peace. But I know when one is peaceful, there's a better chance that person is happy, too.

Things are going well for me lately. Things are good at work. The pressure is there everyday but it surprisingly doesn't stress me. People from work can be nasty at times but they don't get into my nerves. Well almost.

Things are well with my family, too. There are trying times but we can still afford to laugh at the end of the day, thankful that the day didn't take any of us away.

My personal life's okay, too. I feel it's embarrassing to complain during harsh days when in fact there are countless blessings that come my way--including those I feel I don't deserve anymore.

Life is beautiful. Life is good. And it can only get better.
